Clifford Ryan, who spearheads OG’s Against Gun Violence, was our most recent Mystery Guest for Making the World a Better Place.  His mission is “to take back our community to stop the bloodshed and tears of losing our children to violence & prison.” This amazing man met with our older students to share how he reaches out to the community to help young people develop conflict resolution skills. He discussed the many levels of violence including using unkind words and bullying and how it is important for young people to develop the skills to resolve their differences in a peaceful way. When a tragedy occurs in Syracuse Clifford is always there. He organizes marches to bring people out of their homes and has prevented many deaths and injuries.
