Students in fifth, sixth, and seventh grade working with a partner are writing plays based of the Mrs. Piggle Wiggle Books. These books are filled with short stories where Mrs. Piggle Wiggle cures children from tattletaleitis, being a cry baby, and even destructiveness. Each pair of students picked one of the stories and they are putting their own spins on them to create their own plays. The students are getting ready to start creating props and stage sets. The students are also getting ready to cast some of their classmates in their plays. Once they have finished writing their plays and have created props and sets they are going to perform the plays for the whole school. Students have shown a lot of excitement and creativity while writing these plays.
