The New School was an awesome place to be able to explore my different creative interests, learn new things, and meet great people. Their approach to learning is very inclusive and varied, on any given day we would be writing creatively, playing team sports, and learning history, while being able to cooperate and mingle with our peers and friends. This approach to schooling helped me see the value in cooperation and teamwork, where traditional schools encourage you to work alone. I have been able to foster and be a part of awesome teams in all of my different jobs, and my upbringing at the New School helped me realize what is needed to cultivate and sustain an awesome, happy team of people.
